A professional development course for teachers who want to understand student behavior, respond consciously and effectively, and create an environment where students can learn and grow.
Classroom management is not simply about controlling students or stopping unwanted behavior. It starts with understanding what is behind the behavior and the teacher’s role in the situation.
The Conscious Educator helps teachers look at student behavior differently, understand what may be behind it, and recognize how their responses can influence what happens next.
Through interactive activities, real classroom situations, role plays, and practical application, teachers experience these concepts and apply them to situations they actually face.
Grounded in Positive Discipline and Adlerian principles, the course translates these foundations into practical approaches that fit the realities of teaching.
The goal is to help teachers understand their students, lead themselves, build strong relationships, maintain clear boundaries, and guide students toward learning, responsibility, and lifelong skills.
Through a practical and interactive experience, you will develop a deeper understanding of students and their behavior, along with practical approaches to leading your classroom and handling everyday situations more consciously and effectively.
Key areas include:
The foundations of classroom management and how to create an environment that supports learning, skill development, and responsibility
The role of the teacher and how self-management influences the way you interact with students and lead your classroom
Adlerian concepts that help you understand students’ needs and what may be behind their behavior
Mistaken Goals and how to apply them to understand behavior and analyze real classroom situations
Guidance and discipline approaches that help students learn from mistakes and develop responsibility and lifelong skills, rather than focusing only on stopping behavior
Building strong relationships with students while maintaining kindness, firmness, and clear boundaries
